Fan meeting with the Finnish men’s national basketball team at Laikunlava stage on 31 August

On Sunday, Laikunlava stage will be buzzing with excitement for the EuroBasket 2025 when the players of the Finnish national team arrive to greet their fans. The stage will feature interviews with Susijengi and live music. 

A large crowd is expected at the event, so we recommend arriving on foot, by bike, or by public transportation. The event is organized by the Finnish Basketball Association in cooperation with the City of Tampere.

Before the event, you can get into the basketball spirit at the Central Square Summer area, where there will be music and other entertainment.

Sunday program at Central Square:

• 3:00–3:45 p.m. Hippo basketball for 6–8-year-olds
• 3:45–4:30 p.m. Hippo basketball for 9–12-year-olds
• 4:30–4:45 p.m. Wheel of Fortune – every spin wins!
• 5:00 p.m. Free throw competition between the Sudenpesä teams
• 5:45 p.m. Red Circle Dance Crew
• 6:15 p.m. Susijengi fan meeting on the Laikunlava stage

The EuroBasket Championships will be played at Nokia Arena from 27 August to 3 September 2025.

Wolf’s den at Central Square

The European Championship atmosphere will continue at the Central Square Summer area, which will be transformed into Wolf’s den for the duration of the tournament. The square will be filled with tournament studios, a relaxed program, and activities for all ages. 

Tampere Central Square Summer area will be open until the end of the EuroBasket on 3 September. It is free of charge and open to everyone, with no age restrictions. The restaurants on site will also operate during the events. The latest information on opening hours, event program, and any changes can be found on the website and social media channels.
